This warranty applies to all custom computer builds sold by PC Builder Girl on or after September 1, 2024. It may be updated periodically at the discretion of PC Builder Girl. Your purchase of a custom computer build signifies your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms of this Limited Warranty, as amended.

Overview

All new custom computer builds by PC Builder Girl come with a 2-year hardware and labor warranty for the original purchaser, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the “Core Computer,” which includes all hardware inside the computer case but excludes special-order parts specifically requested by the original purchaser. Such special-order parts are subject only to the warranty, if any, provided by the original manufacturer. Monitors and peripherals are not included in the Core Computer and are subject to their manufacturer's warranties.

PC Builder Girl offers only repairs and replacements under this Limited Warranty. At its sole discretion, PC Builder Girl may repair or replace your custom build with an equivalent computer, part, or hardware from the Core Computer. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the system, and details of each product’s warranty period can be found on its packaging or in the user documentation. If there are multiple warranty periods listed for a product, the longest period applies.

Hardware Purchased by The Customer

For hardware and parts not purchased by PC Builder Girl (parts purchased by the Customer), any faulty hardware must be exchanged and/or returned by the Customer unless otherwise agreed upon between PC Builder Girl and the Customer.
Example: Customer unknowingly purchases a faulty graphics card from the manufacturer. Customer is responsible for obtaining a replacement part from the manufacturer. If the two-year hardware and labor warranty is still active, PC Builder Girl will replace the faulty hardware with new hardware obtained by the Customer/manufacturer.

This warranty is non-transferable, except where prohibited by applicable local laws.

Warranty Terms

If your PC Builder Girl system is not operating according to its technical specifications, it will be repaired or replaced at PC Builder Girl’s expense. PC Builder Girl may provide new or refurbished parts or products at its discretion if an exact replacement is not possible.

To use your warranty, you must return the hardware and/or complete system to PC Builder Girl, along with the original sales receipt. You may be responsible for shipping, handling charges, and any applicable tariffs, duties, or taxes.

Any replaced PC Builder Girl system will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer, or as required by local law.

Warranty service is not available if:

• The system is no longer covered by the warranty or consumer law.
• The damage was caused by accidental damage or unauthorized modifications.
• The issue is caused by third-party software.
• PC Builder Girl is unable to address the issue reported.

Obsolete or Discontinued Computer Parts

If an obsolete or discontinued part needs to be replaced and the same product is unavailable, PC Builder Girl will replace it with a part of similar function and capacity, at its sole discretion.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover issues or damages caused by:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Modification, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
• Removal of serial numbers or regulatory labels.
• Improper use or operation not in accordance with the product’s instructions.
• Connection to an incorrect power supply.
• Any other cause unrelated to a defect in materials or workmanship.

Counterfeit products are also excluded from this warranty. PC Builder Girl, at its sole discretion, determines whether a product is counterfeit. If determined to be counterfeit, the product will not be returned and will be reported for investigation.
